Why we chose it

The Loki and Ant-Man numbers being highest isn't random — there's a specific July 5 scooper leak driving it. Here's the briefing:

The Loki (59%) and Ant-Man (33%) odds are directly juiced by a July 5, 2026 scooper storm: MyTimeToShineHello claimed Loki, as the God of Stories, is "reportedly killed off-screen" by RDJ's Doctor Doom, and separately Blue Minutes posted that Ant-Man "kicked one of the Sentinels" before dying, with Cassie Lang's team ending up in the Quantum Realm as a resistance group — a claim MyTimeToShineHello then reposted and endorsed as "insane".

That's why these two specifically, and not, say, Shang-Chi or Sue Storm, are elevated. Thor (55%) rides the older, broader rumor that Doctor Doom, Doctor Strange and Reed Richards survive to rebuild reality — while Marvel skeptics note the studio has repeatedly reversed major deaths, implying the Hemsworth-era vets are the sacrificial layer. Doctor Strange sits at 36% despite Cumberbatch's involvement still being an unconfirmed rumor — a real "can he die if he's not in it?" hedge.

Doom at 17% is the "villain always survives to Secret Wars" floor. The cases FOR deaths: this is a two-parter setup mirroring the Infinity War snap, and contracts are visibly ending (Hemsworth, Rudd, Hiddleston have all done a full arc). The case AGAINST: Marvel's resurrection reflex plus the market's own resolution clause voiding reversed deaths.

Chris Hemsworth has done a full arc, contract's up, character's had his goodbye tour twice. Somebody on a London soundstage saw something and called a friend.

Ripples don't move a line twenty-five points in forty-eight hours on a five-month-out market. Some production assistant is holding a script page and the rest of us watch the water.
